It's Friday!!! My very favorite day of the week. How about a little fabric giveaway to get this weekend started?! The very generous Fat Quarter Shop is offering this beautiful Moda Jelly Roll of Honeysweet by Fig Tree Quilts to one of you lovely readers.
I am in serious fabric love with this line. Joanna Figueroa is such an incredible designer. She is one of my very favorites! I'm going to let you in on a little quilt nerd moment I had, okay?. Last year Fat Quarter Shop sponsored another fabulous giveaway for Joanna's California Girl line. Well Joanna Figueroa commented on that post. On.My.Blog. Yeah, I totally saved the e-mail notification in it's very own special folder. Dorky, I know. But how exciting is that?
I've asked you before what you like to do with a jelly roll. Fat Quarter Shop has a new pattern out called Jelly Roll Jam! It's so cute and perfect for using those pretty Jelly Rolls! The pattern is free and there are also many more free patterns on their site here.

Fig Tree has been forever my favorite line of fabric. Hands down. No question. :-) I would totally make the Jelly Roll Jam quilt with this. I know a bit non creative but it would be perfect for a little babe in uetero right now.
I'd be pretty stoked if I got a message from Joanna too! If I won the jelly roll I think I'd cut it into little 2 1/2 inch squares and make a granny square quilt. I think Honeysweet is such a pretty line. I've been considering buying the hexies too.

I love Joanne's fabrics too! One of my very first quilt fabric purchases was a yard from her Buttercream and Figs line. The quilt was donated to a very worthy cause, but I saved the last 2" x 3" piece of that fabric, and still have it 7 years later! Also, I'm busy sewing 2 cute Jelly Roll Jam quilts right now - what a great pattern!

Definitely not dorky! I made a polaroid block quilt using only Lizzy House prints for the fussy cutting last year, and Lizzy House somehow found it and left the sweetest comment on my blog. I was absolutely over the moon!
