Leila's Scrappy Organizer and Keyka Lou's Dumpling Purse

I finished the Dumpling purse and Scrappy Organizer for my bag.  They are so cute and now I have a matchy-matchy set!

In all of my sewing I've never put a zipper in a bag and I didn't even realize it until I started sewing the dumpling bag. But it was smooth sailing. My stitches are a bit wobbly in some parts but not too bad.

The instructions were very clear. This is the larger (which is still quite small) one. I might make the little one too.

It holds my change and Purell and Swiss Army knife. What more could you ask for? Although it was tough putting that dirty change into my cute little purse.

I used an invisible zipper which I quite like. See just a bit wobbly!

Next I made Leila's Scrappy Organizer.

It's perfect for holding my license, library card, etc.. I put my pens in here too!

This is the outside. So cute.

I finally go the chance to use this vintage button that I have been holding on to for so long. I think it is perfect for this!

Thank you ladies for putting out great, easy to follow tutorials!
I've had so much fun sewing all of these!

OK, I just LOVE that strawberry print! How cute is it? And the second I saw the picture of your change I thought "Oh no, the pouch will get all dirty!" and then I read what you wrote and had to smile.

Completely perfect, Erin! I have that organizer on my list to make, but hadn't really thought of a use for the little dumpling pouch. But as I have nowhere to put change in my purse it now makes total sense! Thanks!

What a lovely, lovely little pair!! No one will see the wobbly (hardly!) stitching - they'll be admiring the cuteness of it all!

This is so fun cuz just this past weekend, I decided I needed a new bag...and don't really need to carry my checkbook around with me and all the crap I have in my bag right now. So, here you come with all your cuteness! {grin} Thanks, Erin!

Hi Kristin, I couldn't e-mail a reply to you so I thought I'd answer you here. The strawberry and apple fabric is actually just a vintage linen that I found. I wish I had more. I love it!
