♥ Heart Bunting Tutorial ♥

So I whipped up this really cute bunting yesterday and I thought I'd share it with you. It takes very little time to make (about an hour).

What you will need:
Fusible web (like heat and bond or wonder under)
6 ~ 5 inch squares of pretty fabric for your hearts
1 ~ 5 inch x width of fabric of Linen
2 yards ~ Trim of choice (I used teeny pom-poms) you could use crocheted trim, binding, etc.
Heart Template HERE

Draw six hearts onto the paper side of the fusible web. Cut them out leaving about 1/8 of an inch around your drawn line. Iron the hearts onto the wrong side of each piece of 5 inch fabric you chose to be your hearts. Cut out on drawn line.

Remove paper.

Take the 5" x WOF linen and subcut 6 ~ 5.5" pieces. (you should have 6 ~ 5 x 5.5" inch pieces of linen)

Iron hearts onto linen. Top stitch about 1/8 of an inch around each heart. *see picture below

Find the middle point of your trim and mark it. I used a clip.

Now Clip or pin all of your hearts about 2" apart along the trim. *you can see the top stitching here

Stack your hearts and sew them to your trim. (Place the linen piece behind the bottom edge of the trim)

Your bunting is DONE! Was that quick or what?!

Happy Sewing!
