Inside the Ski Lodge Block

 I finished the block for Krista, for our cocorico bee, last night. It's not exactly what I pictured in my mind but it is close. I tried to include all of the things that came to mind, for me, when I think of skiing. Seeing as I've never been skiing! I had to give her a pair of cute lecien ski's! I mean that is one of the reasons I would ski, for cute girly skis. I also look forward to a warm cuppa hot chocolate after I play outside in the snow. That's supposed to be a fire in a fire place, not safety cones. haha!  I had to add a little deer rug. And now what I thought would be a window may just be a painting because I'm not sure that I've ever seen a fireplace under a window. All in all I'm happy with it and hope Krista likes it!

    Oh my! That is sooooo very adorable! I am really impressed with the tiny stitching you must have had to do on the tips of the skis and the hot chocolate...awesome! I'm really getting inspired now...after I get my tree decorated with homemade ornaments and such...I'm pulling out my quilts that need finishing!!

    It's darling! Puts me in the mood to go skiing, but I need skis that are that cute. I wonder if they will look at me as if I have gone off the deep end if I ask for Lecien skis.
