Don't you just love that retro cover?! Heidi's book is like a breath of fresh air for me. It includes so many great tips and ideas for managing your time and organizing your sewing space as well as many super cute projects. I really love this book. I referred to it several times for organizing my sewing space and fabric. As well as the tips on fitting in time to sew. It's so encouraging because I know Heidi has little ones at home like I do and she is just as busy me, but you can still make time for sewing and maybe even get those littles involved in the process! Love that!
Here's a peek at some of the projects in the book. This Baby Love set is so adorable! The Flutter Quilt is one of my favorites.
I also love this Starlet Mini! The pictures in the book are fabulous.
I wanted to make the Book Nook pillow. Here is the version from the book as well as the other 2 Nine-Patch Pocket Pillows in the book.
Here is the smaller version, a Deluxe Pincushion. I HAVE to make one of these!
But for now I made the big Book Nook pocket pillow.
I took some of those goodies out for sake of these pictures. They were promptly returned when I was finished!
They've used it outside to layout on a quilt and play. I think I should make another one so that the two little girls each have their own.

Your pillow is adorable! It would make a great gift for a child, stuffed with a book or two; especially for the big brother or sister of a new baby. I think I'm going to have to buy Heidi's book!
