Good Morning! Today I have a Moda Layer Cake of 3 Sisters new line Winterlude to give to one of you courtesy of Green Fairy Quilts.
I love Layer Cakes. If I know I really like a fabric line and want every piece from it but need more than a Charm Pack then I get a Layer Cake. I think they are really fun and you can make a lot with them.
I love 3 Sisters fabric lines! I have a little bit of many of their lines tucked away for a rainy day. They are so pretty. Wouldn't it be great to get this and get and early start on Christmas presents and decorations?
Green Fairy Quilts has a lot of pre-cuts and shipping is free in the U.S.
To enter leave a comment below. If you'd like tell me your favorite pre-cut is and what you like to make with them, or just say hi or hey :)
For a second entry sign up for Green Fairy Quilts newsletter HERE.
The will announce the winner Thursday, May 8th.
Thanks so much to Clint and Judy!
Happy Sewing!
xo Erin
Thanks for a great giveaway. I love precuts as they make life so easy and always work together. I love jelly rolls especially as I find the longer lengths harder to cut well.
ReplyDeleteI have the Green Fairy newsletter. x
ReplyDeleteI'm already receiving the Green Fairy Newsletter.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pre-cuts are Fat Quarters and 1 yards (that are out now). I find it too sad when I've done a project and there isn't anything left for a second one.
I just love layer cakes, you can do so much with them. It is so easy, no worries about coordinating the fabrics. Thanks for the chance to win one.
ReplyDeleteLayer cakes are the next best thing to fat quarter bundles (a little more affordable, too!) I used them when I made my daughters' Christmas tree skirts last year. Thanks for the chance ~ fingers crossed!!
ReplyDeleteI already subscribe to the Green Fairy Quilts newsletter. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI get GFQ newsletter : )
ReplyDeleteHmm, sometimes my favorite is the charm pack, sometimes it is the jelly roll. If I really, really like the fabric I usually get a jelly roll so that I can make something big with it. If I really like it and am not sure what to make, I usually get a charm pack; then I can make a lap quilt or bag or runner or baby quilt. It's all fun : )
ReplyDeleteI like all the precuts, don't really have a favorite. They are a great way to get a little bit of a whole collection without having to buy the minimum cut at the fabric shop.
ReplyDeleteToday my favorite pre-cut is jelly rolls but who knows what it will be tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI always buy layer cakes when I fall in love with a line. They are very versatile!
ReplyDeleteI already receive the Green Fairy newsletter and order from them often! Free, fast shipping and no tax because I live next door in Colorado! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm just starting to use precuts. I have always "cut my own" (is that anything like roll your own?)
ReplyDeleteI love 3 Sisters too! :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, I love charm packs the best I guess...or jelly rolls, I can't really decide.
Lately thought I've been sewing a lot with fat quarters...although I realize that's not really a "pre-cut".
I love layer cakes and charm packs because I can get all the fabrics from a line, but can also mix in pieces from my stash if I need to. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like jelly rolls the best. I make jelly roll race quilts with them and then give them to charity.
ReplyDeleteI signed up for the Green Fairy newsletter. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love all precuts. I never know what I might want to make with them so I try to have some of all.
ReplyDeleteI already receive the Green Fairy Newsletter. Thank you for a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to choose just one favorite precut! I use them all, so nice in different patterns, they are so fun!
ReplyDeleteI already get Green Fairy's newsletter! Love them!
ReplyDeleteI love layer cakes and fat quarters and the fact that there are so many to choose from. I'm kind of hooked on Deb Strain's collections. Signing up for the newsletter. Have a great spring!
ReplyDeleteMy fave pre cut is the charm pack!
ReplyDeleteI already get the GF newsletter!
ReplyDeleteI've worked with jelly tolls and charm packs and love the convenience of both. What beautiful material!
ReplyDeleteMy faves are fat quarters as you can whip up quick projects in no time :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pre-cut has to be the jelly roll but the layer cake runs a close second, there is so much you can do with both cuts. As a new quilter pre-cuts have opened up so many possibilities for me.
ReplyDeleteI love charm packs :) They make up simple, cute baby quilts!!
ReplyDeleteI already receive their newsletter. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI always like the 5 inch charm squares; I also love jelly rolls, with their strips of fabric all cut and ready to sew. Layer Cakes are pretty new to me -- I have one, and I pull it out and look at it about once a week. Somehow I think Layer Cakes may have alot more possible uses, and I would love to add this lovely layer cake to my stash! Their fabrics are the best!
ReplyDeleteI already receive the Green Fairy newsletter!
ReplyDeleteI have never owned a layer cake so I would love to have one! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI like layer cakes as well, if I'm going to buy precuts and not yardage, and like you know that I WANT IT ALL, the size of a layer cake suits my stash better
ReplyDeletejust in case (m3reyna at gmail dot com)
I love charm packs. They're so versatile to use.

ReplyDeleteLayer cakes are my favorite, followed by jelly rolls. Green Fairy Quilts are the best.
ReplyDeleteI like all pre-cuts, but my favorite are Layer cakes because they're more versatile. You can use them full sized, or cut into 4 pieces and have 4 charm packs.

ReplyDeleteI really like fat quarters that way I don't have to have a pattern in mind when I buy it. (I'm really a good hoarder). LOL I'm presently using charm packs to make my first grandchild a few baby quilts. I've never used a layer cake and would love the opportunity to try one. Thanks for having this give-a-way.
ReplyDeleteI like the new Printemps by 3 sisters. It's beautiful. Plan to make a lap quilt for a Christmas gift.
ReplyDeleteI agree, one of the best parts of layer cakes & charm packs is getting a little bit of everything! It's also nice to know that everything is nicely matched up already! Thanks for the giveaway!!!
ReplyDeleteFat quarters are the best! I have been liking to buy mini charms so I can see a whole line before buying anything.
