I think the birdie fabric is a new breast cancer fabric by Linda Lum De Bono for Henry Glass Fabrics. The words are encouraging and I thought it fitting for this quilt. Plus the fabric is bright and cheery.
I have a quick and easy tutorial for making these blocks I hope to put up in a few days. I also have one for the Civil War reproduction fabrics I've been working on.
*If your so inclined please keep my mother-in-law in your prayers! Thank you!
this is beautiful and such an amazing gift. i am sorry to hear that she is sick....i will pray a prayer right now. i love the fabric. it is nice to see inspirational breast cancer fabrics not just the traditional pink ribbon.
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is beautiful! I'm sure your MIL will love it. It will be a gentle reminder that you are always with her during her treatments. Best of luck and I'll be praying for her. Jenn
